On the way to
Bi-Centennial Park to Welcome Santa's arrival.

People begin gathering on this cold Sunday afternoon.

Friday's snow covers the Holy Family and the Menorah that are on display in the park

Hot chocolate is being served by the Grahamsville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary
It sure was appreciated on that "chilly" day

Children greet Santa with cards and wish lists
Santa
- no introduction is needed!

As the afternoon progressed the lines grew. Many happy children were able
to talk to Santa and tell him just what that special gift is that they want.
Santa also had a few encouraging words for each of the children.
The children were not the only ones who enjoyed the afternoon

Music was provided by Bill Brenner and later in the afternoon
Christmas Carols and songs were sung along with a choral group from Tri-Valley School

On the way home we passed the snow-covered ball field that not too long ago was the "place of action" for many of our local children.
As you can see, winter is ready and we are too!
